Ryan E. Garcia is a highly regarded commercial real estate specialist providing clients with sales and acquisition services throughout Southern California. Born and raised in the “Crown City” of Pasadena, CA, Ryan excelled in academics and athletics as a three sport Varsity scholar-athlete at La Salle High School and followed his dreams of playing football in the Ivy League at Dartmouth College.
After graduating, he moved to Chicago to start his commercial real estate career in the world headquarters of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). Working within the Capital Markets Group, Ryan provided services for Fortune 500 companies such as Motorola, General Motors, Capital One and Anthem Insurance. After several successful years with the firm, Ryan decided to make the move back west to his hometown of Pasadena. He has held various brokerage, redevelopment consulting and acquisition roles with such well-known firms as Charles Dunn, CIBA Real Estate and Westland Real Estate Group. Ryan now focuses on net-leased investment sales along with value-add opportunities in the retail sector as a Vice President with Strategic Development Advisors (SDA).
Ryan is an Associate Boardmember with the Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE), an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and participates in Dartmouth College and USC alumni groups.
Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated with a BA in History from Dartmouth College.
In his spare time he enjoys exercising to most Beachbody programs including P90X, Insanity and Body Beast; he participates in Spartan and Tough Mudder races; he is an avid reader; and most importantly, enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Dr. Ani Khatchadourian, and their daughter, Chloe.
